On May 27, 2021, Ambassador Liu Shaobin visited 500MW Photovoltaic Industrial Park jointly set up by China Electronics Technology Group Corporation (CETC) and Türkiye Kalyon Group. This project is the first complete solar energy production chain in Türkiye, and also a key project of high-quality Belt and Road cooperation between China and Türkiye. CETC project operation manager made an introduction of the industrial park. Mr. Orhan Cemal Kalyoncu, President of Kalyon Group said, this project is of great significance for accelerating the development of photovoltaic industry in Türkiye and realizing the country’s economic transition. Ambassador Liu Shaobin noted that this year marks the 50th anniversary of diplomatic relations between China and Türkiye. There are broad prospects for cooperation in various fields such as new energy between the two sides. It is hoped that the business communities of the two countries will deepen cooperation and benefit the two peoples.
