On November 10, 2021, Ambassador Liu Shaobin met with Ms. Tan Ataç, President of Turkish-Chinese Women’s Friendship and Culture Association. Ms. Ataç said that her association, since its establishment nearly 30 years ago, has been committed to enhancing friendship between Turkish and Chinese people and particularly between women and youngsters of the two countries. The association will continue to maintain close cooperation with the Chinese Embassy in Turkey, and make further contribution to the development of Turkey-China relations.

Ambassador Liu noted that amity between people holds the key to sound relations between states. The friendship of the two peoples serves as an important foundation for bilateral relations. The Chinese side appreciates the contribution made by the association in strengthening people-to-people exchanges between the two countries, and hopes that it will continue to promote mutual understanding and friendship between the two peoples.
