On April 15, 2022, Ambassador Liu Shaobin met with Mr. Hasan Çapan, President of the Turkish Chinese Friendship Foundation (TCFF).

Ambassador Liu said that Mr. Hasan and the TCFF have long been committed to the cause of China-Turkey friendship and have made positive contributions to growing political ties and cultural, economic, trade, education, media, and people-to-people exchanges. Despite the impact of COVID-19, the TCFF has organized a series of activities to celebrate the 50th anniversary of China-Turkey diplomatic relations. The TCFF has, in particular, by giving full support to the “CRI Türk” platform, promoted China and China-Turkey friendship. This has thus helped increase mutual understanding between the two peoples. China-Turkey relations are facing new opportunities. It is hoped that Mr. Hasan and the TCFF will make new contributions to the friendly China-Turkey exchanges and cooperation.

President Hasan expressed his confidence in the promising future of Turkey-China relations. Deeply committed to the cause of Turkey-China friendship, he and the TCFF will make greater efforts to promote the exchanges and cooperation between the two countries in various fields.
