On April 8, 2022, Ambassador Liu Shaobin met with Mr. Korhan Kurdoğlu, Chairman of the Turkey-China Business Council of the Foreign Economic Relations Board of Turkey (DEiK).

Ambassador Liu noted that DEiK is an influential organization  in the economic and trade community of Turkey and its Turkey-China Business Council has greatly contributed to upgrading China-Turkey economic and trade cooperation over the years. Both as important emerging economies and major developing countries, China and Turkey should strengthen coordination, seize opportunities and tap our cooperation potential so as to bring China-Turkey relations, especially our practical cooperation, to a new level.

Mr. Kurdoğlu said that both Turkey and China are important countries in the world. The two sides enjoy a long history of friendship and huge potential for cooperation in various fields. The Turkey-China Business Council will continue to play an active role in exploring new areas for Turkey-China economic and trade cooperation, so that such cooperation will bring more benefits to the two peoples.
